Anton Jarl
Anton Jarl is a renowned drummer and composer originally from Sweden who is based in the music scene of Barcelona, Spain. With his solid technique and rich artistry, he is known as one of the country’s most versatile top drummers, constantly in demand, blending diverse genres such as jazz, blues, rock, and rhythm and blues. He was born in Sweden. At the age of 6, his parents gave him his first drum kit as a Christmas present, and he began taking formal drum lessons at age 14. He later moved to Barcelona, where he expanded his musical horizons. Currently, he is the driving force behind the powerful “jambofònic” sound—the hallmark of one of Barcelona’s leading instrumental rock ’n’ roll/rockabilly bands—while also actively performing as the leader of his own trio and quartet.
